Eva Woody Lee, 89, of Fort Payne passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021. She was born February 16, 1932 to the late Luke Woody and Willie Parram Woody. Mrs. Lee retired in 1998 after 26 years of service at both DeKalb General Hospital and Dekalb B.M.C. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Douglas where she was a choir member. Graveside services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the 12 noon hour of service. She is survived by her daughter Victoria Lee Green; grandchildren Robert Green, Alexander Green, and Lukisha Green; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Lee, parents Luke and Willie Woody and siblings Jimmy Lee, JesseLene, Rosa B., Minnie, Maggie, Eula, Estelle, Eugene (Jack), and Ann.
