December 3, 1942 - June 1, 2022

Ottis Owen, 79, of the Adamsburg Community, passed away June 1, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Owen was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on December 3, 1942 to the late Johnie and Irene Dobbs Owen. He was self employed in the construction business. Mr. Owen is survived by his daughter, Teresa Dodd and husband Tony, grandchildren Seth and Maddie Dodd, Micah and Alex Dodd, and Nicole Owen and and husband Ian Ruffer; great-granddaughter Lacie Blaine Dodd, and his sister, Jo Ann Shelton. He was preceded in death his daughter, Constance Annette Owen; and brothers, Odis Owen and Johnie Daniel Owen. The family is planning a memorial graveside service at 1:00pm Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Adamsburg Cemetery.
